Sports Blog

As part of my role in the PE team I was responsible for creating and updating the schoolwide sports blog

Athletics Day

For Athletics day I worked alongside my colleagues to organise and run the long jump, sprints and relay races.


Pepeha

The students researched and delivered their own pepeha.


Super Haka

As part of their inquiry project a group of boys conducted research about the haka. I encouraged the boys to create their own haka that included elements from their own cultures. The following performance included elements from Samoa, Fiji, India and New Zealand.


Simple Machines

The below video demonstrates how I taught lessons on simple machines through hands on activities and experimentation. This reflects understanding of the different learning styles found in the classroom.
